ABOUT MINDY

Mindy Thomas has dedicated her career assisting in the professional development of students and adults for over fifteen years.  She has worked extensively at both two-year and four-year colleges, combining her business background with a solid foundation of career counseling and sales-training skills. Mindy specializes in career exploration, self-assessment, résumé writing, and career coaching, in addition to, conducting Myers-Briggs and other career related workshops. A certified résumé writer, Mindy specializes in résumé construction, ranging from entry-level, to blue-collar, to semi-skilled, to professional, to executive levels.

Mindy is the founder and principal of Thomas Career Consulting, Inc. and has office locations in suburban Philadelphia and New York City. She has also worked as a Project Consultant providing outplacement and transition services at Right Management, the world’s leading global provider in career solutions. In addition to supporting her clients in her private practice, as they explore new career options, Mindy serves as an adjunct professor at Immaculata University teaching numerous courses including Adult Development and Life Assessment, Group and Organizational Behavior, Psychometrics, and Performance, Assessment and Motivation.

Having achieved professional recognition in her field in the greater Philadelphia area, Mindy has been a guest on National Public Radio and has been recognized as a Comcast Newsmaker of the Week. Mindy graduated with a BA in Political Science from Mary Washington University and received her MS in Higher Education Counseling from West Chester University.  She is also a Certified Federal Job Search Trainer, in addition to, a Certified Professional Résumé Writer. Mindy graduated from Georgetown University’s executive leadership program where she did extensive post-graduate work in the field of coaching. Her can-do approach, coupled with a genuine passion to help her clients, empowers them to attain their maximum potential.
